das klassisches Violoncello wird zum E-Cello
In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Cellisten Sebastian Selke, der ein möglichst klassisch aussehendes E-Cello suchte, entwickelte ich ein Instrument,
das die Vorzüge eines traditionellen Cellos mit denen eines E-Cellos verbindet.
Ein Übe-Cello wird auf Grundlage meiner halbakustischen Modelle umgebaut. Durch einen geöffneten Boden und eine integrierte Kammer entsteht ein Instrument, das dem Künstler maximale Freiheit bei der technischen Ausstattung lässt – auch im Inneren.
Dabei bleibt das Instrument frei von Rückkopplungen.
So ist das Piattaforma auf neue technische Entwicklungen vorbereitet und wird zur Plattform für Experimente und individuelle Lösungen.

Der Umbau kostet ca. 1.000 €.
Oft ist bereits ein älteres Übe-Cello vorhanden, das nicht mehr genutzt wird. Alternativ kann ein gebrauchtes oder günstiges Cello als Grundlage für den Umbau erworben werden.

In collaboration with Cellist Sebastian Selke, who was looking for an electric cello with a distinctly classical appearance, I developed an instrument that combines the advantages of a traditional cello with those of an electric cello.
An existing practice cello is converted based on my semi-acoustic models. By opening the back and creating an internal chamber, it becomes an instrument that gives the artist complete freedom when it comes to the technical setup — including the electronics inside the instrument.
And all without feedback.
This makes the Piattaforma ready for new technological developments and turns it into a platform for experimentation and individual solutions.

The conversion costs approximately €1,000.
Often, an older practice cello is already available and no longer being used. Alternatively, a used or inexpensive cello can be purchased specifically for the conversion.
